DOORDARSHAN - a memory

** Written in about 45 minutes before sleep...so don't try to see the language..just try to understand the feeling.... :)

We were in schools at that time and we never ever realized that world could be so beautiful..(similar to the chicken..whose world is limited to the inner part of the egg shell..) ..Did you remember your old days....offcourse you do.....I can't forget the hell of my childhood spent with a single channel named DOORDARSHAN...India's so called national Channel..Actually this channel never let anyone live in the Post independence period...surely the pictures would have come floating before your eyes..no need to be so sentimental.

As the name suggests, Doordarshan..its the channel which every one wants (don't know about you).. "DOOR se hi darshan kar lo", One thing i would love to ask everyone "Since how many days (i should have used Years here.. hee hee hee) have one watched any serial on DD1??...Don't remember the date..yeah offcourse you don't...coz even i dont know :)...So let's try to recall some incidents..

Waise, ye to manna padega ki Indian government cares about the rural people a lot. Out of 24 hours, for atleast 8 hours, they keep on broadcasting "KRISHIDARSHAN"."CHAUPAL" type mega series which one can watch on any day of the week. though it had been started for the KISAN Bhais but government never realized that for whom these serials were broadcasted, they didn't have the access to the TVs at that time and if they had they don't have the time to watch these SHITs ..LOL...

Now lets talk about the Kids series...yeah, by watching which we grew up....some names are coming out..please control your blood pressure... :P

"TARANG",..(CIET lekar aya tarang-4..).."CHUTTI CHUTTI" (started for kids during summer vacations), and most advanced of all was 3D animation shows..Hmm..I am talking about those crap KATHPUTLI shows. Did you remembered the song,"YE HAI TARRAMTOO OH BHAIYYA YE HAI TARRAMTOO".....(I remembered RISHABH here)....don't smile..it was your favorite serial at that time...those kids act in these serials which don't even know how to act..means pathetic acting...and everyones favourite jo ki mujhe abhi abhi yaad aya..thanks to shuneel... "Shaktimaan".... which made all indian kids rotating on their feet and kept jumping from buildings especially in Mumbai...trying to be Shaktimaan..did you remember the sound when HE rotates....(F**K F**K F**K)

Now the news, though it was broadcasted several times a day, but it was just one time at which we could watch them. Other then that, news for persons with different disability are shown separately..like "Ab hum mook badhiron ke samachar sunege, Ab ham baharon ke samachar sunenge" etc etc..

Now lets talk about movies..Did you remember the latest movie which you have watched on DD1...forget it..DD1 never came out of the magic of 80's...unhe 1980's ke baad ki movies NAI lagti thi... Hmm..i can say here that people didn't gained anything after buying coloured TV because DD1 had always showed black and white movies so it was same for coloured and B&W :(...When it comes to broadcast LIVE TV..DD1 was at the top..to show every sports except cricket...I remembered an incident...when India-South Africa match reached an interesting stage..and they started showing news at that time and didn't even updated the score...when the news were finished..the match was..India won..hmphh.

They started some comedy serials...trying to entertain the public and to gain TRP...but they forgot to give the warning before the serials (("All characters in this program are Chuu***s, and if you break your TV sets, or have an heart attack or gets into a COMA after watching these, we will be fully responsible for that :).and we will not apologize.....Important::please get a cable connection soon, we will never change :)" ))....Someone said detective serials..yeah man..it was disgusting..Just one or two cases were worth watchable in those cheap detective serials...mostly the cases were related to chori chakari, dakaiti, pocket maars...and right from the beginning, one had an idea who the criminal is...DD1 always kept it in the safe side not to show murders on TV.."It could affect young generation."...detectives were so cheap that they had to travel on scooters with no gun or someting...aur nahin bataunga ab..

I never understood why they always chose the pathetic actors..(i used a wrong word here..i should say nautanki)...hamesha saale over acting karte rehte the..

At last, it was the 15 minute serial in which DD1 listens Public opinions and try to do better for entertainment...it was named "AAP AUR HUM"..lets see few cases which i had personally seen..

Q:: I want to ask, why don't you show the Horror movies or serials??

Ans:: Kids too watch the channel so they would have bad impact on there minds, so we can't..its impossible.. hehehe..(Once they tried to show Jaani Dushman...saalon ne aisi rip kari movie ke 3:30 Ghante ki movie ko 2:30 ghante me khatm kar diya...every horror scene was deleted...they didn't care whether or not the part they ripped was important.)

Q:: Why don't you show the Kids movies or serials??

Ans:: hey, adults also watch this channel and also there are few kids movies, so we cant..sorry dude...hehe

Q::Hey there are lots of ads between movies..why the hell is that..??

Ans:: Its because of so many sponsers....so its impossible to show without a break...(What the crap movie being showed up..I don't know from where they did get the sponsers)

Q:: How about showing a new movie??

Ans:: Are you joking..seriously....nai movie dekhni hai to cable lagwa le..hum to 60's ki hi dikhayenge ..jo karna hai karle... :P.

Though it was named Aap aur Hum..but they never cared for "AAP" part of the serial..it should have been named.."HUM AUR SIRF HUM"...because ..unka kisi bhi question ka positive reply nahin hota tha.."Hum ye bhi nahin dikha sakte, hum wo bhi nahin dikha sakte..saalo dikha kya sakte ho...ye bata do.."

Did you remember your old antenna..which you kept rotating to get a clear view of the picture...and set up in the position where some nearby DISH was available..." Aya ki nahin.....nahin aya ...aur ghuma..bas bas..abe abhi aya tha..fir gaya..idhar ghuma thoda."

So, after everything they did to ruin our childhood, we enjoyed every moment of life..so cheers for the national channel "DOORDARSHAN"
